Car damage
Car damage, caused by a cat
The following story about damage to a car is taken from my working life.
From the point of view of the cat owner
In the summer of 2009, between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm I was at home working on my bicycle on the balcony. While working on the bike I had put all the screws, some parts of the ball bearings and other tools on the top of a cabinet.
Unfortunately, I did not notice when my tomcat approached. My tomcat, who weighs 7 kg, jumped onto the cabinet for reasons unknown to me.
This caused some screws and the screwdriver to fall off the balcony (toward the street). Unfortunately, at just this moment a car drove by.
From the point of view of the car owner
I was driving down a small street at an appropriate speed when suddenly a clanking noise came from the top part of the car (the roof).
The Consequences
Several dents were left in the roof and a scrape in the paint on the rear right side.

Extent and cost of the damages
The following repairs were required:
Repair of the roof and repainting of the roof and the right side of the car.
The cost of the repairs amounted to approximately 850 euros.
